Charles “Neal” Isom, 69, of Brentwood, passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021.

Neal was born on February 26, 1951 in Hopkinsville, KY, the son of Charles and Barbara Stephens Isom, and they precede him in death.

Surviving is his daughter, Jennifer (husband, Jonathon) Edwards of Whites Creek; best-friend and caregiver, Sandra Malone of Brentwood; grand-daughter, Sydney (husband, Ian) Jansing of Springfield; brother, Danny (wife, Melba) Isom of White Bluff; nieces, Carrie (husband, Damon) Pence of Dickson and Mary (Becky Mitchell) Isom of White Bluff; and great-nephew, Zach VonBergon of White Bluff.

Neal was an international salesman for Flagg Brothers, which then led him to owning his own shoe store. Later, he pursued a career selling automobiles. After being so successful selling cars, Neal then turned to Real Estate until his retirement.

A hard worker, an expert at growing things, and a lover of all animals, are just a few things that describe Neal and what he enjoyed doing. Neal also enjoyed riding horses, being a chef, boating, or just sitting on his deck admiring the great outdoors.

He had a charismatic personality, and he always had the biggest laugh amongst those in any room. Neal was a loving father, grandfather, and friend, and he was a true believer in Christ.

Neal was a professional rider and a competitor in the Saddlebred Horse Industry. He was also a member of the National Association of Realtors.

I send you all my most sincere condolences. Vivid memories of those exciting years with all the little boys running up and down the stairs at Gramma's and Papa's house, yelling and having such a good time. The years just flew by. My sincere love to all the family, you are in my prayers.

I'm sorry to say that I have no real memory of your daddy except how he supported you on Ian and Sydney's wedding day. It was the sweetest picture for the day.
