Neal was born on February 26, 1951 in Hopkinsville, KY, the son of Charles and Barbara Stephens Isom, and they precede him in death.
Surviving is his daughter, Jennifer (husband, Jonathon) Edwards of Whites Creek; best-friend and caregiver, Sandra Malone of Brentwood; grand-daughter, Sydney (husband, Ian) Jansing of Springfield; brother, Danny (wife, Melba) Isom of White Bluff; nieces, Carrie (husband, Damon) Pence of Dickson and Mary (Becky Mitchell) Isom of White Bluff; and great-nephew, Zach VonBergon of White Bluff.
Neal was an international salesman for Flagg Brothers, which then led him to owning his own shoe store. Later, he pursued a career selling automobiles. After being so successful selling cars, Neal then turned to Real Estate until his retirement.
A hard worker, an expert at growing things, and a lover of all animals, are just a few things that describe Neal and what he enjoyed doing. Neal also enjoyed riding horses, being a chef, boating, or just sitting on his deck admiring the great outdoors.
He had a charismatic personality, and he always had the biggest laugh amongst those in any room. Neal was a loving father, grandfather, and friend, and he was a true believer in Christ.
Neal was a professional rider and a competitor in the Saddlebred Horse Industry. He was also a member of the National Association of Realtors.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 from one o’clock until three o’clock in the afternoon at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 9010 Church Street East, Brentwood, TN.
A Celebration of Life will follow the gathering at three o’clock at the funeral home.
