Constance Marie “Connie” Compton, 64. Died suddenly on October 9, 2019. Preceded in death by her parents, Stanley and Marguerite (Fotherby) Abromaitis. A graduate of Southfield Senior High School in Southfield, Michigan, Connie was a loving and devoted mother to her sons, Dennis and D’Wayne Compton and daughter, Theresa Compton Jaco. She’ll be deeply missed by her children; her son-in-law, Michael Jaco; four grandchildren; siblings Stanley (Sara) Abromaitis, Diane (Robert) Whelan, Paul (Stacey) Abromaitis, and Michele (Robert) Hood; many nephews and nieces, and numerous friends. Connie was sweet, gentle soul who inspired kindness and patience in all who loved her. She was the first to check in with the sick or struggling. Connie never forgot a name, a birthday, or an anniversary. She had a smile for miles and a heart of gold. We will miss her incredibly. Visitation is scheduled for Monday October 14, 2019 from 4-7 Pm at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 9010 Church St. E., Brentwood, TN. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Phillip’s Catholic Church, Franklin, TN at 11 am, Tuesday, October 15, 2019. Burial to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Nashville, TN.

I was just stunned when I heard the news of Connie's death. She was such a sweet woman and will be missed by all who knew her.
