

Edward Walker Boehms of Brentwood, TN died peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 22, 2016. Edward was born on December 16, 1925 in Little Lot, TN, the son of Hubert Beale Boehms and Ruby Hunter Boehms. He was the youngest of four children.
Preceded in death by Elizabeth B. Hunter, H.B. Boehms, Jr., Ruby B. Heriges.
Ed is survived by his daughter, Dena Boehms Walters; and grandchildren, Ryan Walker Boehms Walters, Jamiee Khristen Walters, and Paige Mackenzie Walters; as well as the nieces, nephews, and cousins he loved.
He was a veteran of WWII in the Navy V-12 Unit. He graduated from the University of Illinois, retired from the U.S. Treasury Department and IRS after 30 years, and then worked for the state of Tennessee. He was also a member of Brentwood Baptist Church. Ed was devoted to his Lord Jesus and to his family.
Visitation will be held at Brentwood Roesch-Patton Funeral Home on Thursday, April 7, from four to seven o’clock in the evening, on Friday, April 8, 2016 from five to eight o’clock in the evening, and again on Saturday, April 9 from noon to service time at two o’clock in the afternoon. Interment to follow service on Saturday at Woodlawn Memorial Park. Rev. Chip Hunter officiating. Active pallbearers to include Tony Boehms, Paul Lillard, Ryan Walker Boehms Walters, David Adcox, Robert Heriges IV, Charles H. Warfield, Jr., and honorary to include John Lee Smith, Larry W. Hunter, David R. Boehms, Neil Jobe, and James Hershel Boehms.
