YONTS, James Martin “Marty”, age 57 passed away June 19, 2012. He was born on February 18, 1955 in Lexington, KY. He is preceded in death by his father, James Martin Yonts, Jr.; sisters, Vicki Yonts Sullivan and Tamara Yonts Lent. Marty was a songwriter & recording artist, in the music industry. He is survived by his life partner, Dan Metzgar; mother, Naomi Martin Yonts Gilbertson; step-father, Edward Gilbertson; sisters, Lisa Dale Yonts Daniel & Barbara Breeden Perry; brother-in-laws, Allen Sullivan, Rob Lent, Mark Daniel and Carl Perry; nieces & nephews, Jeanne Sullivan Boone, Meredith Sullivan Benton, Jimmy Sullivan, Lee Daniel, Micah Daniel & Gabriel Daniel and a host of beloved friends & extended family. Memorial Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2012 at Church of the Redeemer on Caldwell Lane. The family will receive friends from 1p-4p & 6p-8p on Friday, June 22 at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home.
