So sorry for the loss of such a godly woman. She was always a blessing to be around and I'm so glad I was able to spend time with both she and Ed a few years ago on a visit to TN. God bless you all during this time of mourning and grief. We all look forward to the day of rejoicing in Heaven together.

The Rollins family is synonymous with student work in Baptist life. So grateful for the contributions Ed and Joan made for so many years. Our prayers are with you in their parting from us but I know they have experienced a joyful reunion!

I am so sorry to learn of the loss of Joan especially on the heels of loosing Ed. They were two of the finest people I have ever know. Their love and gentle ways will live on in my heart.

It is hard to find just the right words to describe our feelings after learning of Joan's death--especially so soon after Ed's transition. And yet, I can can also imagine the reunion they must be having. Prayers for family continue. Tad

She was a loving, supportive wife and mother. I know Ed welcomed her with open loving arms.

Joan was a dependable servant
everywhere she went and could always be counted on to do the proper thing. She was a pillar in all her relationships. If the improper was suggested, she would disarm us with a big smile and laugh.

We were so sorry to learn of Joan's passing. We loved her and Ed very much. We have such fond memories of times together. I spent a night or two with her and the children when it was too foggy to drive back to Dos Palos and was able to observe her kindness and organization with the children. We enjoyed a wonderful trip with them a few years ago, as they "showed us the South."
With love and fondness,
