Joanne Mary Cucci

Joanne Mary Cucci, nee Napolitano, 58 years old of Brentwood, TN passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, April 11th 2022. Joanne was born in Great Neck, New York on December 8th, 1963. She then relocated to Schaumburg, IL with her family as her father’s work relocated them. After staying in Illinois for over 30+ years she made the move again with her family to Brentwood, TN. She was one of the toughest women to walk this earth and loved the same way. She adored working with her husband Ted at their kids clothing store they started while watching & helping him become an entrepreneur never wavering.

Joanne is the Wife & Soulmate of Theodore Cucci; happily married for 36 years. Loving mother of Nicholas (Jessica), Anthony (Rachel), and Michelle (Moe) Cucci. Adored Nana of ‘Princess’ Lia, ‘Queen’ Teddi, Luciana, Vittoria, Camila, and Nico.Cherished daughter of Rita Napolitano preceded in death by her father Severino. Sister of Neil (Sue), and Cindy Napolitano. Loving Aunt of Severino, Matthew, and Michael Napolitano. Fond Sister in law of John (Brenda), and Phil (Linda) Cucci. Treasured cousin of Michael Ambroselli. Legacy is a term today that tends to be overused, and seems that everything and everyone has to have one but with Joanne she left behind a very real legacy that will be carried on for every generation moving forward.

You can pick any aspect of her life to speak of but you will quickly realize her most prized possession was the love and adoration for her husband Ted. This was the type of marriage you dream about, and there are not enough words to describe what an understatement that is. As parents, relatives, and friends they set a wonderful example of how a husband and wife should undoubtedly & unconditionally love each other, and their entire family around them. We should all be so lucky. There was never going to be enough time with Joanne, it would never be enough.

If life was a ship, Joanne was the anchor and the ship was absolutely massive. If you really want to see what her life was like then all you need to do is look at her children and grandchildren. Everything Joanne touched turned to pure gold.

A mother’s love for her children is like nothing else in the universe. It knows no law, no pity. It dares all things and crushes down remorselessly any and everything in its path.
