John Sidney Frazer

John Sidney Fazer passed away on Sunday September 4, 2022. He was born to John Freeman and Ethel McLean Frazer on January 7, 1931. A graduate of Donelson High School he then graduated in 1953 from Austin Peay State College. Sidney worked for the Glidden Company for 40 years covering parts of Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina, Georgia and Kentucky.

On October 15, 1960 he married Sara Elizabeth (Betty) Burgess, This was a marriage of almost 62 years. In Addition to Betty he is survived by 2 sons, John Martyn (Vickie) Frazer and Harry Lee (Lisa) Frazer, 2 grandsons, John Henry Frazer and Peter Martyn Frazer. He was an active member of the Lions Club for many years. As a former member of Brentwood Country Club and the Nashville Senior Association he enjoyed playing golf with his friends. He served terms on the advisory Board and Investment Committee of the Woman's Club of Nashville. He was an ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church USA. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Franklin, Tennessee at 101 Legends Lane.

Visitation will be on Thursday September 8, 2022 from 12-1 PM at First Presbyterian Church in Franklin TN. A Service of Witness to the Resurrection will be on Thursday September 8. 2022 at 1 PM.

In Lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Sara Doll Burgess Scholarship Fund at Queens University of Charlotte, 1900 Selwyn Avenue, Charlotte, N.C. 28274.
