I have never met a more sincere Christian man than J T Graves.  He was a great example to me as a young man, leaving a tremendously positive mindset of what a man of God should be like.  God rest his soul...job well done.

Sandra,  Karen and Johnny,  I was so sorry to hear of J.T. passing.  He and Mickey were very special to our family.  Dad and Mom thought the world of them both, I have fond memories of family times at their homes. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. J.T. Graves was such a very important part of the Harvey Parton Family.  He will surely be missed. I just know Harvey has been waiting on him to get to his resting place and join him there.

Saddened by the death of J.T.  When my husband and I joined Haywood Hills, he and Mickey were active members and were certainly an inspiration to both of us.  I remember how he and Albert Fisher would go visiting every week and set such an example for so many.  His love for Christ was evident to everyone that knew him.  My husband went home to be with the Lord in 2003.  Shortly after that I attended a grief-share course at Haywood Hills and J.T. was there. Each of you are in my prayers.

His Christian "walk" will be forever embedded in my thoughts -- how our God would have us live.  The husband, father, friend, servant, mentor and counselor that we all should strive to be.  Joyce (Demonbreun) & I so enjoyed our visits in his home; comparing notes about children and grand-children and memories from days past.
