1952 until 1955. He attended Morton High School
and Hammond High School in Hammond, IN. His
hobbies were raising chickens since he was a child.
Mr. Hammers attended Judson Baptist Church in
Nashville.He is preceded in death by wifeof 33 years,
Diane Elizabeth Hammers. He is survived by two sons,
Scott Hammers and Stephen (Robin Hall) Hammers;
one daughter, Sheri Lang; sisters, Nell Banks, Bernice
Crownover; five grandchildren, Rebecca, Rachael,
Ryan, Justin, and Adam.Visitation will be Wednesday
from four o'clock in the afternoon until six o'clock in the
evening at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home
and Thursday from one o'clock until two o'clock at Judson
Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life service will be held
