He was born in Mobile, Alabama on September 17, 1962, son of Joseph Elwood Bryan Sr. and Abbie Lou Bryan.
The family moved to Brentwood, Tennessee in 1973 where Joseph attended St. Henry Catholic School. He graduated from Montgomery Bell Academy, and the University of Alabama. He was an accomplished swimmer and athlete and participated in numerous sports. His great love was Alabama football, which he followed faithfully until his death.
Joseph is survived by his mother, Abbie Bryan, and his brother, James Bryan. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Elwood Bryan Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 2nd at 10:00am in the chapel at St. Henry Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, if one wishes, please consider making a donation in Joseph's honor to a charity which touches your heart.
