Judy’s passion for service extended beyond the church walls; she founded "Lisa’s Shoebox Ministry" at the Battered Women’s Shelter in Texarkana in memory of her daughter. Through this ministry, Judy provided support and love to women and children in need, especially during the holidays.
Her love for people was evident in every aspect of her life. She was a gracious hostess, always putting others’ needs before her own. Judy found joy in entertaining friends and family, playing games such as Mexican Train, and traveling to Nashville to visit her son and his family. She was known for her incredible eye for decorating and fashion, and her homemade fudge was a holiday favorite. Above all, Judy loved her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and she lived a life of service and love toward others.
Judy's legacy of kindness, hospitality, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
