Kim L. Coleman

She was born in Erin, Tennessee on January 19, 1957, daughter to Tom and Bee Brewer. She was a graduate of Houston County High School and received her B.S. in Nursing from Austin Peay State University.

She was married to Barney Coleman on December 30, 1977 and had two children, Scott Tyler in 1978 and Lauren Stephanie in 1983.

Kim was a loving, caring and devoted mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend. She enjoyed spending her time with family and friends, cooking, photography, gardening and traveling. She particularly loved watching her beloved grandson, Jacob, grow up and was involved in his many sporting and academic endeavors

She attended First Presbyterian Church in Nashville, Tennessee with Jacob.

Kim was predeceased by her parents, Tom and Bee Brewer, sister, Lisa Ekers, husband, Barney Coleman, and Ed Gambill.

She is survived by her son, Tyler (Aimee) Coleman of Nashville, Tennessee, daughter Lauren (Sal) DiDonna of Kissimmee, Florida and grandson Jacob Coleman of Nashville, Tennessee.

A memorial service will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 noon on Monday, August 1, 2022 at First Presbyterian Church, 4815 Franklin Pike, Nashville, TN 37220.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home.
