Patricia Joan Wynn was born on January 15th 1932 to Nathan Tully & Mildred Denemark in Brooklyn, NY as younger sister to Barbara. They spent their childhood there, traveling, and in Bushkill, Pennsylvania for the summers. There she spent many happy times with her cousin Bob.
She met the man of her dreams at 17, and she and Marvin Wynn married when she was 19. They were happily married for 58 years until his untimely passing in 2009. Together they raised two children, Matthew (Susan) and Elizabeth (Garrett). Their children had children, and they delighted in their four granddaughters, Nicole, Andrea (Roger), twins Madeline & Michelle and great-granddaughter Harper.
Pat was a homemaker and as children grew, went back to complete her degree at Manhatanville College in New York, focusing on Asian Art Studies. Additionally she spent her free time in sales of English antiques and artworks. Marvin and Pat enjoyed a very active social life, attending Broadway openings, opera at the New York Met, and were members of Rolling Hills Country Club in Wilton, CT. Upon retirement, they moved to Scottsdale, Arizona where Marvin began his real estate career and Patricia focused on Western Art sales. As the children became parents themselves, they decided to relocate to Nashville to be closer to family.
Patricia was a very active participant in family activities and daily life & love here, and enjoyed watching her family grow and expand, until her passing at 90 years of age.
She was called “Perfect Pat” for a reason, and as it was said so well today: “This was Patricia Wynn; cultured, sophisticated, kind and loving, smart and experienced; she knew quality (in people and things). She was a creator of beauty, giving, interesting, social, self-assured, homemaker and hostess, discriminating, gracious. Weren’t we all lucky to have her in our lives?”
Yes, we certainly were so lucky to have been loved by her and she is already greatly missed.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.Brentwood-Roesch-PattonFuneralHome.com for the Wynn family.
