Philip Harold Sanderson

September 16, 1945January 29, 2018

Philip Harold Sanderson, age 72, passed away on January 29, 2018 in Franklin, TN. Preceeded in death by his parents, Harold Matson and Geraldine Roberts Sanderson. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Jane Parris Sanderson; daughter Lauren (Matthew) Barrows, son Matson (Kimberly) Sanderson and two grandchildren, Eva-Elizabeth and Mattison Sanderson, step granddaughter, Hailey Barrows, and step great-grandson, Avery Moore. Philip enjoyed playing golf and riding his Harley motorcycle. He loved his country and served in the U.S Air Force. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend to many. He will be sadly missed by all. Graveside service will be on Friday, February 2, 2018 at one o’clock in the afternoon, Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Pegram, TN. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.

Jane and family. So sorry to hear of your loss. We have great memories with you and Phil. Particularly the West Virginia and Virginia days. Lots of golf stories. Included his golf game on Mothers Day. I am still living that one down. He will be missed. We think of you often.

Sad to learn of Phillips passing. My two sons Don Jr.,and Bowen,and I enjoyed knowing Phil and Mat and playing golf with them at Temple Hills. He was a happy person a delight to be with. Our deepest condolences are sent to the family.
