Randy was my second cousin.  He was two years older than me. My dad, Charles Hitner, would visit him and his mom frequently. After my dad passed in 2001, I picked up the baton and started communicating with Randy. My wife and I visited him a couple of times at his home in Madison. We also followed him on Facebook. 

Born with cerebral palsy, his Mom was told that he would never walk. Yet he did, and accomplish things you wouldn't believe. He didn't let his disability of walking and talking stop him from going to college at Memphis State, getting married and having a child, and starting his own business.  

Randy loved God and Jesus and was not afraid to share his faith. I am sure he is walking and talking with them now in heaven.

Randy was a man who struggled with a very difficult disability but a heart that never showed it. He was our neighbor and one day many years ago drove his motorized wheelchair in front of our house and we started our friendship. My husband and I had a hard time understanding his words, because of his disability, and he knew that. ❤️ He would speak more slowly as long as it took for us to hear what he was saying. He trusted us completely and drove to our house or called us when he needed assistance. I re-lit his prayer candle on many occasions when the flame went out. It was a pleasure to help him with something that was so important to him. He is whole, healthy and completely loved by his Father in Heaven! 🙏❤️ You were a good man,  Randy and have finally received the blessing that you truly earned along with The grace of Jesus! ❤️🙏✝️
