Rita Ann Napolitano

Rita was born in Queens, New York on May 22, 1941. She was the wife & soulmate of Severino Napolitano; Happily married for 60 years before Sam’s passing on February 6th, 2021. Loving Mother of Cindy Napolitano, Joanne Cucci (Napolitano) and Neil Napolitano. Fond mother-in-law of Theodore Cucci whom she also raised like another son from the young age of 17 years old.

Grandmother to Nicholas, Anthony, Michelle Cucci, also to Severino, Matthew and Michael Napolitano. Rita was the Aunt to Michael Ambroseli whom she loved like a son. She was a wonderful GG to seven great grandchildren. Rita grew up in New York and moved to Schaumburg, IL when her husband was relocated for work.

A Pillar of strength and a beacon of love, her absence leaves a major void in our hearts. She was one of the toughest women to walk this earth and loved the exact same way.

Legacy is a term today that tends to be overused, and seems that everything and everyone has to have one but with Rita she left a very real legacy that will be carried on for every generation moving forward.
