

Robert married Glenda Marie Miller on October 31, 1981, in Memphis, Tennessee. He pursued his education in English at the University of Maryland and later built a successful career as a stockbroker with Morgan Stanley.
Bob was deeply devoted to his family and cherished every moment spent with them. He was well-read across a variety of subjects, making him a brilliant conversationalist who could engage anyone with his wit, cleverness, and sharp sense of humor. He had an uncanny ability to connect with people in a meaningful way. While he built a successful career as a stockbroker, Bob's passion was music. A self-taught musician, he was a prolific songwriter and singer, composing hundreds of songs, many recorded in Nashville. His talents shone as he played the piano and guitar, sharing his gift with friends and family, creating memories filled with melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Bob’s life was a beautiful composition, blending love, intellect, humor, and music into a legacy that will resonate in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Fox; daughters, Jaime Marie Fox and Cameron Rose Fox; brothers, James Fox (Sandy) and William Fox (Debbie); sisters-in-law, Lori Hudson (Jeff), Lola Tiner (Wayne), and Brenda Miller; mother-in-law, Wilma Miller; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Fox; father, Leo Fox; sister, Elizabeth McMahon; and father-in-law, Buster Miller.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Brentwood-Roesch-Patton Funeral Home, 9010 Church Street East, Brentwood, TN 37027, on November 24, 2025, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
