Robert A. Gottlieb, age 71, passed away on May 10, 2014. Preceded in death by parents, Ralph and Zelda Gottlieb. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; son, R. Jonathan; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Jeremy Stoehr; grandchildren, Jonathan, Jr., Jaleigh, Haley, Brooke and Drew; sister, Beth Batzel and family. Graduate of Rutgers University and UVA Executive Program. He worked for Brooks International and Aetna Insurance. During his 20 year career he was senior officer of Citicorp NY and President of their insurance services in Nashville, and Diners Club, Denver. He was Citibank Senior State Officer in Colorado and Tennessee. During his tenure he resided in Switzerland, England and U.S. and was a member of many banking organizations. Mr. Gottlieb was a NY Mets Fan, sports enthusiast, golfer and avid reader. A graveside service will be held today at 10:00am at Harpeth Hills Memory Gardens. Memorials in his honor can be made to Rutgers Scarlet Knights Program in New Brunswick, NJ and Congregation Micah in Brentwood.
