I just found out that Bob passed and my heart is broken.  He was the kindest, most genuine man that I've ever met.  Darryl and I were blessed to have Bob and Shirley around when we got married 15 years ago.  He is deeply missed, respected and remembered forever in our hearts.  Much love to the entire family as you grieve~

So very thankful to God for the witness of Christ's love and grace that Bob bestow on so many. He was a mentor and friend, a fellow heir of Christ's righteousness. He will be missed by all the McKays.

There are no words to tell how much love and respect I have for my Dad.  It lifts my heart reading the statements of others here and knowing that he touched so many lives.  Thanks to all of you who loved him and knew what a wonderful man he is/was.

Our lives, and those of the entire CBC church family have been richly blessed through knowing Bob (and Shirley). Their lives have indeed been a life-long ministry that has touched innumerable people with the Grace of God. Though we rejoice that Bob is now with his Savior Who he loved so much~~ far away from all his pain and suffering, those he has left behind still grieve his loss. 
We take comfort in "seeing" Bob running into the outstretched arms of his Savior, knowing he has "fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith."

Bob will always be greatly remembered as a man with a deep, true geniune love for God and others.  We rejoice that he is in heaven with Christ, but will greatly miss seeing him here.

We were blessed to see first hand a life that was led in light of the Cross! We are grateful for the ministry that Bob and Shirley shared at CBC as well as in our lives personally. We give glory to God for their lives and better understand how to live the Gospel because of the grace given to them. Our dear brother and friend leaves behind a fellowship of believers that rejoice over his life. We love you both!

In our hearts the Johnston family will always be part of our favorite stories and memories. Bob will remain always young, vital and full of the love of the Lord. We will carry you in our hearts and pray that you continue to feel God's love through this time.

Having known Bob Lee (Butch) since his (and my) birth, Sheila and I are saddened that he is no longer with Shirley and his family, but gladdened by the fact that he is now fellowshipping with The Heavenly Father.  I knew him as playmate, classmate, next-door neighbor and college roommate, as well as friend.

Our love and prayers go to Shirley and the rest of his family.  we have all been blessed by his life.
