Sondra Ann Gilbert Harris

Sondra Ann Gilbert Harris, age 83, of Nashville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, February 19, 2022 with end stage renal disease. Sondra was born December 8, 1938 in Tampa, Florida. Given the nickname "Sonie" by her brother Tommy Gilbert.

Sonie graduated from Kings Mountain High School, then graduated from University of North Carolina on a one year program in "Dental Assisting"

Sondra is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, George Harris; two daughters, Cindy (Danny) Hester, Susan (Steve) Spinell, and son David George Harris; 12 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Patricia (John) Fontana.

Sonie was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Lee Gilbert, mother Ethel Deleporte Gilbert, Brother, Thomas Lee Gilbert Jr.

A memorial service will be Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Christ Presbyterian Church, 2323 Old Hickory Blvd, Nashville, Tennessee 37215. visitation for Sondra will be held Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 10:15 AM until time of memorial.

In lieu of flowers family suggests donations in Sondra's honor to Christ Presbyterian Church or Alive Hospice.
