Steve is the absolute epitome of how someone can impact your life, no matter the duration. I just learned of his passing today, and I am saddened, and my condolonces are absolutely with his his entire family. Although I never met his wife or kids, I feel as if I knew them from afar, because it seemed to be the ONLY thing that he always spoke about, and could ALWAYS hear the cheer in his voice when speaking of them. Steve, you will be missed. RIP, Thomas B, former co-worker at CHS.

This news I just received and am so very shocked!! I worked with Steve doing the CHS conversions in Tucson, Hattiesburg and Gadsden. He was such a very nice gentleman and a great co-worker. I am truly sorry to hear this and have asked God to wrap his love and comfort around each of Steve's family members. Just know he will always remain in your hearts!

I believe when someone we love passes through this life and beyond, the beauty of their spirit becomes a new star in the night skies. Rick's star will surely shine brighter than most, for he was a star amongst those who loved him. He will be missed by his friends in Florida.

Steve and I worked together for a couple of years from Tucson, Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama... Steve and I often ate together usually in a group but one evening in Tucson Steve and I were at a steak house eating. I never made it a secret that I am a Christian and I prayed over our meal. After I prayed Steve and I sat and talked not about religion but about God for well over two hours. He had a good grip on the important things in life, God, family, and work. He loved his wife (that would be you, Ann Marie) and he was forever talking about how proud and DEFINITELY how protective he was of his girls, not those exact words :-). Steve would talk about Ann Marie like she were a shiney new penny. Ann Marie I only met you once briefly in the airport but know your husband loves you. Steve was there for me when I took the call that my wife passed away while I was working in Hattiesburg. All I can figure was God needed a good project manager and he called the best. God bless you and your family.

Steve, first and foremost, was one of the most hard-working, kindest, jovial, and loyal person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. There are not enough words to describe who he was. No matter how much he had going on at times, he made it a point to speak to everyone that passed and did it with a smile on his face. I'm by far going to miss having him around. He constantly told stories about his wife and kids and how proud he was of his family. I ginuinely have nothing but kinds words about this man. I not only considered him a co-worker but a close friend. All of us at work were absolutely devastated with the news. My prayers and thoughts are with his family and friends. I am truely going to miss Steve but I am so happy of having the pleasure of knowing and working with him. Such a great example to so many.
