

Fortenberry, William A. - Age 50 of Nashville / Belfast, TN. January 26, 2010. Bill was a wonderful father, son, companion, and friend to all. He loved boating, animals, music, and socializing with friends. He was a unique talented and caring person. He never spoke badly of others, was a free-spirit and fun-loving person. For the last ten years he was a tool & die maker for GM in Springhill, TN. Resident of Belfast, TN, but spent most of his time on the water in and around Nashville. Preceded in death by his mother, Annelle Wingate Fortenberry of Huntsville, AL. Survived by his son, Shannon Fortenberry of Belfast, TN; father William H. Fortenberry of Huntsville, AL. He also leaves his dear companions Simone Spencer and Captain Andy. A Nashville memorial service and celebration of his life will be held at the Black Pearl restaurant, BlackJack Cove Marina.
