COTE, Albertine V., “Tina” age 96, of Fernandina Beach, FL, died Monday, April 11, 2016. Born in Jefferson, South Dakota, she came to the area in 1968 from Marathon, FL. She was a cook at the Hernando County School System and a former manager along with her husband Herman at Camper’s Holiday in Hernando County. Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law: Ronald J. Cote and Geri Hadley of Menlo Park, CA; Darrell F. and Emily Cote of Auburn, CA; daughters and sons-in-law: Marilyn J. and William Stewart of Alachua, FL; Charlene and Dennis Todd of Fernandina, Beach, FL; 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 5 – 7pm, Friday, April 15, 2016 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11:30am, Saturday, April 16, 2016 at St. Anthony Catholic Church with Father Paul Pecchie officiating. Interment will follow at Florida Hills Memorial Gardens, Spring Hill.
