RODRIGUEZ, Alfonso, age 89 died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at his home. He came to this area 8 years ago from his native Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. He was a Customs Agent, a life member of the D.A.V and of the Christian Faith. He is survived by his wife of 65 years: Edith; son & daughter-in-law: Wilfredo & Evelyn of Spring Hill; daughter & son-in-law: Maria A & Julio Capo of Spring Hill; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 2-4pm and 6-8pm Thursday, June 23, 2011 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel where a funeral service will be conducted 11am Friday, June 24, 2011. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
