Allan was a beacon of joy, humor, and wisdom, known for his quick wit, generous heart, and his ability to make people laugh even in difficult moments. He had a deep love for life, learning, and adventure, and he took great pride in sharing his knowledge, stories, and life lessons with his children and grandchildren. Whether through thoughtful conversations, humor, or quiet guidance, he taught his family to stay curious, stay strong, and appreciate life’s simple joys.
At the center of Allan’s life was his beloved wife of more than 60 wonderful years, Mary Duchesneau. Together they built a beautiful life grounded in love, laughter, and shared adventures. The greatest gift he leaves behind is the closeness of the family he helped build and the love that will continue to guide them. His love will remain the compass that guides our family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Duchesneau; his children, Daniel and Lorri Duchesneau, Nicole and Cory Bills, and Jason Duchesneau and Martha Duchesneau. He was a proud and devoted grandfather to Tyler Burchard, Joshua Duchesneau, Nathan Duchesneau, Nicholas Duchesneau, Samantha Duchesneau, and Zachary Duchesneau each of whom brought him tremendous joy.
Allan will be remembered for his humor, his strength, his wisdom, and the deep love he had for his family. His legacy lives on in the values he passed down—kindness, resilience, laughter, curiosity, and the importance of family above all else. His children and grandchildren will forever carry his lessons, his humor, and his love of adventure in their hearts.
A service to celebrate Allan’s life will be announced by the family. In the meantime, his family finds comfort knowing his stories, his laughter, and his love will remain with them always.
A life well lived. A man well loved. Rest easy, Dad. Your work here was done well.
