Anthony Angelo Argenas

ARGENAS,  Anthony “Tony” A., age 91 of Brooksville went to be with our Lord  Sunday, May 1, 2011 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born in Pittsburgh, PA he came to this area 18 years ago from West Palm Beach, FL where he moved to in 1987. He was a Director for Eastern Central Motor Carriers Assoc. and was also employed by Tramonte Distributors and Alside Aluminum. He was a WW II U.S. Coast Guard Veteran where he received two Purple Hearts and member of Forest Oaks Lutheran Church.  Tony loved the outdoors and enjoyed the beautiful Florida weather. He is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years: Elinor; sons & daughters-in-laws: Daniel & Rebecca Argenas of Sarasota & Gregory & Mary Argenas of Charlotte, NC; brother: Eugene Argenas of Pittsburgh, PA; sister: Dorothy Colamarino of Pittsburg, PA and 6 grandchildren: Anthony & Timothy Argenas of Sarasota, Olivia & Cristina Argenas of Charlotte and Vicki Oplinger  & Nancy Smith of Akron, OH;  great grandchildren: Lindsey, Marissa, Leah & Tara and many dear friends of whom he deeply cherished. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Anthony’s memory to HPH Hospice.
