Anthony De Santo

DE SANTO, Anthony, age 86 of Spring Hill died Thurs., Aug. 26, 2010 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville.  He came to this area 30 years ago from his native Brooklyn, NY. He was a train conductor & switchman for the City Transit Authority, a US Marine Corp Veteran, a lifetime member of the VFW and member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife: Monique; sons: John De Santo of Staten Island, NY, Danny De Santo of Palm Harbor, FL; daughters: Danielle Dahl & Alexis De Santo, both of Spring Hill; sisters: Carmella Hughes, Marie Cerreta & Jean DelDuca and 2 grandchildren: Paige & Jackson. Visitation for friends will be 2-4pm & 6-8pm Sun., Aug. 29, 2010 at Merritt Funeral Home, Spring Hill Chapel. A funeral mass will be conducted 9:30am Monday, Aug. 30, 2010 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with Mgr. James Flemming officiating. Burial with military honors will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell.
