THOMAS Sr., Asa Carnes, age 71, of Brooksville, FL died Friday, October 11, 2013 at his home. He was born in Lecanto, FL and was a lifelong resident of Brooksville, FL. He was a farmer and Baptist by faith. He is survived by his wife: Chlora J. Thomas; sons: Asa, Charles and Michael Thomas; Michael Daye, all of Brooksville, FL; daughters: Laura Hypes of Brooksville, FL; Sandra Leppert of Idaho; brothers: Donald, Bill and Samuel Thomas, all of Lecanto, FL; sisters: Jane Ashley, Mary Thomas, Elsie Goforth, Exer Knighton, all of Brooksville, FL; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 11:00am, Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at Lake Lindsey Cemetery.
