He was born December 28, 1942 in Georgia and had lived most of his life in Brooksville, Florida. He was a carpenter by trade and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Lois; son, Mark Gordon of Brooksville, Florida; daughters, Crystal Cloud, Pamela Becker and Melissa Gordon, all of Brooksville, Florida; sister, Patricia (Patti) Elise Ferham of Gainesville, Florida; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
