

Born on January 31, 1933 in Kannapolis, North Carolina, she lived a life marked by faith, creativity, and devotion to her family and community.
Barbara graduated from Cannon High School in 1950 and later earned her degree with honors from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte in 1985. She married the love of her life, B. Marlin Mull, on September 24, 1950, and that union lasted 73 years, until his death on March 20, 2024.
A member of Brooksville Wesleyan Church, Barbara served faithfully as a pastor's wife for over 60 years in various churches in North Carolina, as well as Indiana and Florida. She taught Sunday School classes, worked in church missions, and was deeply involved in church life. Her love for the Lord was evident in all she did, and she touched many lives through her ministry and service.
Barbara was also a woman of many talents. She was an exceptional cook, a skilled seamstress, and an artist.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Marlin Mull; her; parents, Roy Mills and Beatrice James Mills; her sister, Linda Mills Connor; and her nephew, Phillip Connor.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Beth Kensell (Ralph); her son, Buford Marlin Mull Jr. (Debbie); her sister, Suzanne Senkiw; six grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Friday, November 21, 2025 at Merritt Funeral Home (2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601). The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30am at the funeral home.
