He was born May 24, 1940 in Ogden, New York and came to Brooksville 14 years ago from Lavonia, New York. He was a plumber by trade.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas M. Baker Jr. and Eugene Baker; sisters, Nancy Lammes, Betty Curtis, Shirley Eagan and Esther Ruggels. He is survived by his wife, Sherre Baker; sons, Robert Baker and Michael Baker, both of Rochester, New York; daughters, Tammie Maloney of Chittenango, New York and Susan Mattison of Brooksville, Florida; sister: Dorothy Manes of Avon, New York; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
