GARVIN, Betty J., age 90, formerly of Brooksville, FL died Thursday, March 27, 2014 in Stephenville, TX. She was born in Wilkes Barre, PA and was a member of the Brooksville Wesleyan Church. She is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Ronald and Kay Coombs; Stephen and Diane Coombs of Asheville, NC; daughters and sons-in-law: Nancy and William Scouten of Stephenville, TX; Ruth Ann and John Kamost of Dayton, OH; 17 grandchildren. Visitation for friends will be 9-10am, Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel with funeral services beginning at 10:00am. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL
