Born in Auburn, New York, she came to this area in 1974 from Hillsboro Pines, Florida. Mrs. Shallcross was a registered nurse and a member of Grace Brethren Church.
Survivors include her husband: Herbert W. Shallcross; sons: Herbert Michael Shallcross of Weeki Wachee, Florida, Scott Alan Shallcross of Tilden, Texas, Brian Keith Shallcross of Brooksville, Florida, Willis Perry Shallcross of Maryville, Tennessee; daughters: Vicky Shallcross of Brooksville, Florida and Mary Ann Ames of Brooksville, Florida; brother: Thomas Schermerhorn of Pensacola, Florida; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
