Blanche Amsler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on February 23, 2026, at the age of 97 in Brooksville, Florida. She was born on December 9, 1928, to Henry and Mary Baumgarten in Goshen, Indiana.
Blanche was a devoted spouse to her loving husband, Dave Amsler, for 69 years prior to his passing. Together, they raised three children: Timothy Amsler, Roseanne Sessoms, and Sharol Uribe. She was a grandmother to 6 children, great-grandmother to 7, great-great grandmother to 3, and a loving mother-in-law to Charlene Amsler and Gee Uribe.
Blanche was a dedicated member of Eden Baptist Church where she served as secretary and director of the christian school until her retirement at age 89. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and unwavering faith. Blanche wanted everyone she met to know about how much Jesus loved them.
Blanche and Dave loved fishing so much that they moved to Florida in 1964. They opened a business selling and repairing motorcycles in St. Petersburg. They moved to Brooksville and opened a small engine repair business in Brooksville that is still owned by family members.
Blanche will be deeply missed by her family and friends, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Private graveside services will be held in the nearby future.
