He was born in the Bronx, New York to Thomas and Bridget Harrison. On October 10, 1964, he married Clara Flak and he remained devoted to her until her passing in 2021.
BJ owned his own business for many years and dabbled in real estate, but his family was his priority. He was a huge supporter of his children, grandchildren, and even his great-grandchildren. He could be found helping out at the ball field, playing in the yard with the kids, or attending any number of functions to cheer them on.
BJ lived his life to the fullest, always putting God first. He instilled the love of Jesus in his children and taught them the importance of hard work by the example he lead. He also enjoyed travel and golf and was very proud of his Irish heritage.
"Que sera sera, whatever will be will be" was a quote that he often said. It was evident that he believed this as he was often found with a big smile on his face or teasing others despite circumstances. His encouragement and support will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his children, Brendan Harrison, Chris and Karen Harrison, Linda and David Burk, Suzy and Bob Marosi, Mike and Christi Harrison; his grandchildren, Jade Harrison, Caiti Harrison, Jacob Harrison, Sarah Harrison, Rebecca and Sam Epps, Luke and Marqi Harrison, Leah and Kyle Hersey, Jenn and Brandyn Kuhn, Robby and Zadie Rook, Sean and Kristina Rook, Misty and Eric Mylin, Amber and Patrick Peacock, Daniel Rook, Skye Marosi, Tyler Harrison, Easton Harrison, Kayden Harrison, Payton Harrison; and his 19 great-grandchildren.
