Born June 18, 1948 in Lexington, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Elbert Watts and Betsy Gordon Watts.
Britton courageously served our country in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman. She was proud of her family heritage, descending from the Pilgrims of the Mayflower. She also was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Britton is remembered by her family and friends as a headstrong businesswoman, having owned several businesses in her lifetime. Her unique spirit and personality will be treasured by all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband, Michael Pitcock; her son, Scott Bell; her granddaughter, Yemaya; five siblings; and her two yorkie dogs (her “best buds”).
Britton will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida during a private ceremony.
