Diane & I have been friends since kindergarten, I remember her dad as always happy and larger than life.  He loved to tell stories, many about his Rockhound days with my papa and gramma.  I will miss his stories, but I hold onto those fond memories. My love is with Diane & her family during this difficult time.  

Daddy, the only thing that I can find in my heart to say about you not being here with us any longer is that you are no longer in pain.I miss you every day, many times a day.I know you would want me to continue life, and I will but I will never let our memories that we shared escape me nor the sound of your voice and the unselfish love you showed me. You taught me so much. I am who I am today because of you. I hope I made you proud. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have had you, the best daddy ever.Thank you for making sure our family was always taken care of.You are a true Man. You never met a stranger. Where do I start. I met Dad back in 1994 and was always amazed by how he loved his family. As the years rolled by he made me part of the family. He always made sure I was included in family events. Easter's, Thanksgivings and Christmas. I was never left out. You were a big part of my life. I will miss you Dad. May you rest in peace

Papa, you were the most amazing, caring and strongest man I knew. You are my hero! There will not be a day that goes by that I won’t miss you. I learned so many things from you. I will forever be grateful that I had the pleasure of being YOUR granddaughter! Until we meet again, I shall carry your memories and legacy with me.

I am so sorry, for Bryan was like a big brother to me. He joined our family when l was nine years old  and has been close ever since. He truly was a man’s man for there was nothing he could not do.  I remember when he filled Bonnie back from La. , he got a job driving a truck to Tampa . We lived right of the Bayshore and even back then no trucks wee allowed on Bayshore but he didn’t get stopped. He came in pretty late , my dad freaked out cause he just knew he had to get Bryan and that truck out of that area and fast. He wasn’t mad at Bryan but just scared that he would get ticketed, well he had him follow him to the business and parked the truck then brought him back with him in the car. Fond memories!!!!!

Bryan was the most interesting and intriguing man I've had the pleasure to call PaPa. He loved his family and friends immensely.  His stories of his youth, including work, military, and his rock hobbies were priceless. He loved his country and everything it stands for!  I will miss him dearly, as will countless others, but I am so thankful to have been able to share and spend the times I did with him. Go rest on high Papa and continue your story telling with God and his Angel's, your work on earth is done. We will all carry on in your memory and see you again some day!
