He was born June 8, 1926 in Cecil, Ohio and came to Brooksville 9 years ago from Sun City, Florida. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Air Corps. He worked as a maintenance supervisor for a cement manufacturing company and was a Christian man.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Diane Wortman of Brooksville, Florida; daughters and son-in-law, Linda Counts of Spring Hill, Florida, Vickie Scott of Tampa, Florida, and Patsy & Buddy Brass of Brooksville, Florida; stepson, Charles Mills of Bradenton, Florida; stepdaughter, Debbie Shaw of New York; sisters, Phyllis Jagger of Michigan and Patsy McGinnis of Perrysburg, Ohio; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.
