Charles Joseph Cerro, Sr.

CERRO, Charles Joseph, Sr., age 82 of Spring Hill, FL died Saturday, July 7, 2012 at HPH Hospice Care Center in Brooksville. Born in Brooklyn, NY he came to this area in 1984 from Port Richey, FL. He was a bus driver for the New York City Transit Authority, member of the Moose Lodge of Spring Hill bowler league, Knights of Columbus in NY, played softball in the seniors league and was a US Army Veteran of Korea. He is survived by his loving wife: Ruth and was a loving father to Carolanne Ciavolella of West Sayville, NY, Raymond A. Cerro of Tannersville, NY, Janet E. Cerro of Jericho, VT, Kathleen H. Cerro of Brooksville, FL and Charles Joseph Cerro, Jr. of Sea Cliff, NY; loving brother of Eleanora Cerro, Gregory Cerro, Robert Cerro and John Cerro; grandfather of Cassandra, Paul, Jennifer, Rachel, Maria, Sara, John, Charles, III, Lauren and Mia and five great grandchildren. A memorial mass will be 9:30am Friday, July 13, 2012 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church with inurnment to follow at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to: HPH Hospice of Brooksville.
