He was born June 19, 1969 in Oceanside, California and came to this area 14 years ago from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He worked as a restaurant manager.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth "Pat" Masdin and sister, Jeannette Newman. Mike is survived by his children: Kristen Messina, Nicholas Young, Christian Messina and Brian Young; grandchildren: Ayden Nazar and Lillyanne Stroble; best friend, loving caregiver and former wife: Trena Messina; sisters and brother-in-law, Lorraine R. & Kennis Mullins, Vicky L. Sykes and Nancy E. Gill; nieces and nephews.
