

He was born in Louisville, Kentucky and is the fifth child to Michael and Trina Ferguson.
Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents, Marian and Gerald Corder and niece, Juniper Jeanette Winn. He is survived by his parents, Michael "Mike" Dale and Kontrina "Trina" Melinda Ferguson; sisters, Kayla Elizabeth Winn (David), Hannah Rebecca Elizabeth Ferguson, Josephine Loran Ferguson, Kaylee Burnett, Brittany Felten, Lilly Ferguson, and Madison Jade Ferguson; brothers, Michael Kenneth Dale Ferguson, Alexander Tadgh Ferguson (Jenna), Justice Priority Ferguson, Luke Romanczak, Joe Ferguson, and Brenden Ferguson; nieces, Bella Jaggers, Ava Bush, and Kendra Ferguson; nephews, Levi Bush and Makai Liam Ferguson; grandparents, Fonda Kay Griffitt (Junior), Roger Ferguson (Sue); and many cousins, uncles, and aunts that love him very much.
Chris’s life was influential to many in his family, his friends, and his community. He served as a prospect of Odin’s Soldiers. Chris was a Lance Corporal in the Marines. He graduated early to join the military. He was in JROTC, played football, wrestled, and was very active throughout his high school years.
Chris was a loving son, brother, and friend. He never met a stranger; he had a very outgoing personality. Everyone that he met was touched by his light. He was the best brother, friend, and son.
A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held from 1:00-3:00pm, Saturday, July 26, 2025 at Merritt Funeral Home (2 South Lemon Avenue, Brooksville, FL 34601), followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00pm.
