MILLS, Cora Jane, age 84 of Lakeland, FL, formerly of Brooksville, FL died Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. She was born in Oak Grove, FL and came to Brooksville in 1994 before relocating to Lakeland, FL. She was a homemaker. She is survived by daughters: Joan Gainous of Lakeland, FL; Joyce Fortner of Brooksville, FL; sisters: Nellie Campbell and Lula Harpin; 3 grandchildren: Daphne Wilson, TJ Gainous & Frank Fortner and 6 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, September 4, 2010 at Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to HPH Hospice or the Gideons International, PO Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800.
