He was born January 17, 1940 in Manhattan, New York and came to this area 15 years ago from Long Island, New York. He proudly served in the United States Army and was the owner & operator of his own orchid business called D Anderson Company. He was of the Presbyterian faith.
He is survived by his husband, John Schandel; brother, David Anderson of Harcourt, Iowa; sister, Jean Warren of Eau Clair, Wisconsin.
