

Born in Davenport, Iowa on July 4th, 1945, she moved to Florida in 1967 with her parents. Debora is survived by husband, William, and daughter, Julie Brady, grandsons, Matthew Peavy, and Colton Peavy of Colorado. Surviving sisters are: Connie A Crim of Hudson, Florida, Leanne G Martin of Spring Hill, Florida, Pamela K Landon of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Barbara Brown-McDonald of Hutto, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her father, Armond L Brown, stepfather, Junior William Weiner, and mother, Georgia L (Wilcox) Weiner.
Debora Lea (Debbie) was born July 4th, 1945, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Armond L Brown and Georgia Louise (Wilcox) Brown. She was later adopted and raised by Junior William Weiner. Debora Lea Weiner was united in marriage to William Everett Lake on December 20, 1969, in New Port Richey, Florida. Debbie attended colleges in Iowa and PHCC in Brooksville, Florida. She was an accountant in Brooksville but primarily a homemaker. A member of Brooksville Christian Church, Debbie prayed for anyone and everyone.
Flowers, flowers, flowers, Debbie loved flowers! She enjoyed planting and picking, making bouquets and sharing flowers. Needle crafts, water sports, biking, and walking were also favorite pastimes if she could put her book down long enough. She loved her family, a caring daughter, wife and mother, grandmother, and sister.
A visitation will be held at Merritt Funeral Home (2 S Lemon Ave, Brooksvill, FL 34601) on Tuesday, July 21st at 3:00 PM, where the Celebration of Life begins at 4:00 PM.
