

She was born November 14, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and came to Spring Hill 27 years ago from Manahawkin, New Jersey. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend; a tailor and seamstress extraordinaire; a superb athlete her whole life until age 85 who trained for the Olympics in swimming and synchronized swimming in her youth and had the nickname Ester Williams because of her graceful form & strokes; and a gourmet cook specializing in Northern and Southern Italian, French, Chinese and German cuisine.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John J. DeMarco, Jr. She is survived by her daughters: Linda C. DeMarco of Swarthmore, Pennsylvania and Andrea P. Conklin of Acworth, Georgia; one grandchild: Gillian L. Conklin.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 11am, Monday, November 9, 2020 at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at 12:30pm at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.
