
TOCCO, Dominic, age 81 of Masaryktown, FL died April 10, 2008. Born Nov. 25, 1926 in Detroit, MI, he served as a Proud American in the U.S. Army. He married the love of his life, Irene in 1949. They were married for 57 years, Irene preceded him in death. He moved to the Spring Hill, FL, with his three sons and daughter, in 1971 where he and his family built a building on U.S. 19 and started a family business, formerly known as Nick?s Meat Market. He later purchased a grape farm, where he sold muscadine grapes at Nick?s Vineyard on County Line Road. Meanwhile, still keeping a full time job working first as a school bus driver, then moving through maintenance to head of carpentry, then retiring from the Hernando County School System after 21 years of service. Survivors include his sons & daughters-in-law: Andrew & Penny Tocco of Hudson, FL, Fred Tocco of Las Vegas, NV, Edward & Sherri Tocco of Spring Hill, FL; daughter: Catherine T. Boskey of Tampa, FL; brother: Sam Tocco of Sterling, MI; grandchildren: Devin, Heather, Lisa, Bryan, Jennifer, Natasha & Dominic; great grandchild: Mario. Visitation for friends will be 2 ? 4pm & 6 ? 8pm, Wed., April 16, 2008 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Brooksville, FL, where a wake service will be conducted at 4:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 9:00am, Thur., April 17, 2008 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Masaryktown, FL with Father James Bucaria officiating.
