

Donald Ervin Mack was born April 28, 1933 in Washougal, Washington. The family then moved to Clatskanie, Oregon where he lived until going to college at Pilgrim Bible Institute in El Monte, California where he met and married Donna, his wife of 65 years.
Having felt a call to Christian work he pastored churches in Oregon and Washington where he served as District Treasurer for the Pacific Northwest District.
Feeling led into the financial area of God’s work the family moved to Indiana where Don was the accountant in the Pension office of the Wesleyan headquarters in Marion, Indiana for 16 years. In 1982 he moved to New Jersey to serve as the accountant for Christ’s Mission, a church planting organization for churches in Italy. Moving to Orlando, Florida in 1984 he opened his own accounting business where he worked with Christian and not-for-profit organizations. It was here he started keeping books for WBCA and worked with Lutheran Haven, a retirement village, as accountant. Moving to Brooksville in 1999 he was appointed the treasurer of WBCA.
He is survived by his wife: Donna; daughter: Ronda Stewart (Doug) of Richland, Washington; son: Russell Mack (Brenda) of Franklin, North Carolina; granddaughters: Kyla Stewart Causey (Zack) stationed in Korea, and Julia Dana (Sam) of Sylva, North Carolina; sisters: Merrilee Morrell (Gene) of Bend, Oregon and Judy Thornton (Ellis) of Gloucester, Virginia. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, three sisters and three brothers.
A Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am-11:00am, Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Brooksville Wesleyan Church, where Funeral Service will begin at 11:00am, with Pastor Jerry Pence and Reverend Marlin Mull will be officiating. Burial will follow at Brooksville Cemetery.
