
He was born in Port Huron, Michigan on October 10, 1973. He passed away on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Marliere Hospice House in New Port Richey, Florida.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Marlane Cain Huss of Inverness, Florida. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Victoria Wilson Cain: his father, Duane Cain Sr; his sister, Dawn Cain; cousin, Charles Cain; many cousins, aunts, uncles and friends; and his two beloved dogs, Chloe and Marcus.
Duane went to high school at Citrus High School and graduated in 1991. Duane was a dedicated professional known for his skilled work as a telephone splicer and his expertise in home remodeling. His hands were not only tools of trade, but also instruments of creativity. He developed a passion for the outdoors early in life. He found joy in the thrill of offshore fishing with his good friends. Duane's love for grilling was equally profound; he took great pride in grilling briskets in the smoker. He was also an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines.
Duane accepted Jesus as his Savior the day before he passed away.
Duane will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who had the privilege of knowing him. His legacy of hard work, love for family, and passion for life will forever remain in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a date to be determined.
