Hey papa, long time huh?.. this year has been such a headache you wouldn’t even believe it. I graduated basic and ait, following in your footsteps of course! J & I broke up, I really needed you at that time but I got over it within a day. It didn’t hurt me as bad as I thought it was going to, it actually made me happier that he left. The guard is going good but I’m thinking about going active duty soon. I got my own place a whole 3 bed 1 bath apartment aha and it’s only me. I also have gotten tattoos! So far I have 4 and 3 piercings but by December I’ll have waayyy more to tell you about. Work has been insane, I work 100+ hours every 2 hours and I’m starting to fly to Florida more often to check in on gram and sissy. Gram misses you tons, we can all tell.. everything is still different without you, way different.. our family is kinda slipping to be honest.. I wish you could’ve stayed a little longer.. forever my bestfriend❤️ I hope you’re playing your guitar still. I love you

Hey papa, it’s been a while and I apologize. Josh and I moved in together, well I moved in with him and his parents but hey it’s good.. I start college next year for nursing and I leave in February for basic.. oh ya I forgot to tell you, I joined the Army National Guard a couple months ago. I wasn’t going to do it but we had talked about me joining and I wanted to follow your footsteps so I said fuck it I’m gonna try it out and joined lol.. anyways I hope you’re doing well because I’m definitely not. When will it get easier?  because it just keeps getting harder and harder.. I wish you could come back home papa. I love you forever.

Hey papa, Friday I got my wisdom teeth out and two baby teeth... I had very very small stomach surgery the other day and guess what?!?! I just got my first apartment!! Wouldn’t have been able to be where I’m at without you!! I love you
