Edward "Skip" Clifton Barnes Jr.

He was born March 25, 1944 in Wareham, Massachusetts and came to Weeki Wachee 13 years ago from Clovis, California.  He served in the United States Army and was a Vietnam War Veteran.  He was a truck driver for his own business and a member of Stable Faith Cowboy Church.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Audrel; sons and daughter-in-law, Edward "Cliff" III & Sabine and David Lundin; daughter, Ginger Barnes; sisters and brother-in-law, Carol & Ray Langlois and Betty McNulty; grandchildren, Kymberley Barnes and Evan Barnes; great-grandchild, Rayann Barnes; niece, Roxanne Langlois.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, May 4, 2019 at Tillis Hill Campground Withlacoochee State Forest Dining Hall, with Pastor David Hope officiated.  A Potluck Luncheon will follow.  Tillis Hill Dining Hall is located at 9231 South Trail 13, Inverness Florida 34452 (only access Tillis Hill from C-480/Stage Coach and Forest Road or Trail 13 and head North on Forest 13 for 1.5 miles).
